etta: keeper of the hearth
etta is a neighborhood restaurant that serves delicious, wood-fired food in a fun, relaxed environment. A perfect spot for friends and family alike, guests are welcomed to eat and drink as if they are in their own home.
Centered around a wood-fired hearth, Chef/Partner Danny Grant puts a twist on childhood favorites. From the wood-burning oven comes crave-worthy, fluffy, crunchy pizza, including Chef Danny’s personal favorite, the “Fire Pie”, which is topped with sausage, giardiniera, and chile de arbol. Every pizza is served alongside a not-so-standard pizza box with freshly-grated parmesan, house-made spicy giardiniera, and “pizza powder”. Use all three if your tastebuds can handle it.
Starting the hand-rolling process every day at 5am, our pasta team creates beautiful, decadent house-made pastas using expert attention to detail and lots of love, too. Highlights include the “Bucatini Cacio e Pepe” that is begging to be twirled, and “Cavatelli Bolognese” drizzled with parmesan fonduta.
Last but not least — words cannot describe the “Pig Picnic”. With tender slices of pork shoulder and crispy pork belly accompanied by hearth bread, lettuce cups, cucumbers, chimichurri, and other refreshingly spicy accoutrements, this dish embodies what we are all about at etta: simple, flavorful, wood-fired food.
We celebrate all that the local community has to offer by working with numerous small producers to showcase the highest quality product available.
When it comes to wine, our approach is focused on sourcing eclectic, yet approachable selections from wineries that care about our guests and their dining experience as much as we do. The wine list at etta mostly consists of Italian and French wines, with a small new world appearance.
